DESCRIPTION: Genistein is a natural isoflavone; it’s one of the main active factors in soybean isoflavones and the most effective functional component in soybean isoflavones. Isoflavones are sources of plant estrogen that mimic the estrogen produced by the body. Genistein is a strong antioxidant with skin-soothing properties. It quenches free radicals and elastin-degrading enzymes that speed up the process of skin ageing. Free radicals and inflammatory cytokines contribute to the expression of collagen and elastin-degrading enzymes. Topical application of Genistein reduces the degradation and appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as inhibiting the harmful effects of UV damage.
Genistein can stop and reverse the appearance of ageing caused by free radicals and environmental stressors by repairing and stimulating collagen production. It also has strong UV absorption activity and can be used to inhibit tyrosinase before it begins.. It is used to treat cellulitis, ageing, dull skin, redness and dark spots. It has moisturizing effects due to its hyaluronic synthesis boosting quality.
