DESCRIPTION: Baobab oil (virgin, cold-processed), is a highly-priced oil rich in vitamin A, D, E, and F, as well as sterols (particularly, β-Sitosterol and other fatty acids (Oleic, linoleic, linolenic, palmitic and stearic acid). It is said to have up to twice the antioxidant content of pomegranates and goji berries. Baobab is a tree native to Africa, also known as the “tree of life” because it can live up to 2000 years. It is also regarded as the largest succulent plant in the world. Baobab oil is derived from the fruit seeds – then they are sun-dried before being cold-pressed.
It provides anti-oxidant, emollient, conditioning, soothing, nourishing, softening, and moisturizing benefits to the skin and hair advantageous for dry and damaged skin and hair. It promotes the maintenance of the cell membrane, improves the skin’s barrier function, and restores flexibility. It offers sine and suppleness to the skin and sheen to tired, dull hair. It is suitable for mature and wrinkled skin and helps to treat stretch marks.
