DESCRIPTION: Macadamia nut oil is a cold-pressed oil from macadamia seeds. It offers nourishing and repairing properties. It also penetrates faster than most natural oils with a light and dry after-feel.
In formulations, it has excellent oxidative stability with good performance in skincare. It conditions the skin and protects it from water loss. It replenishes.
It is rich in palmitoleic acid which is useful in treating skin disorders such as hyperpigmentation and inflammatory conditions. Palmitoleic acid is the same fatty acid that the sebaceous glands in our skin produce. It has skin-softening, soothing, and youth-promoting properties. It enhances the skin’s barrier protection properties. It reduces eczema and acne conditions.
In haircare, it smoothens the skin, and makes it look shinier and stronger. It helps combat frizz and flyways.
