DESCRIPTION: Marigold CO2 Extract is an oleoresin extraction of tagetes erecta, a rich source or carotenoids. It is known for its healing and skin-nourishing abilities. It possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. Its main composition is lutein and contains ≥70% of Total carotenoids
It is derived from supercritical extraction from the flowers that results in a dark, waxy solid, that can leave a deep stain – which is impractical and expensive to use in cosmetics. We offer a standardized fluid solution in natural, non-comedogenic oil. Despite that, it will colour white formulas an orange hue. Marigold CO2 Extract can be richly enjoyed in oil-based products and will lend its vibrancy to the final formula.
