DESCRIPTION: Polysorbate 80 is a non-toxic polyoxyethylene derivative of sorbitan monolaurate. It is used as a solubilizer for fragrance and essential oils into water-based products like toners. It is also used as an emulsifier in oil-based products like cleansing oils. It is a good wetting agent, viscosity modifier and dispersing agent.
