DESCRIPTION: Broccoli seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the Brassica Olearacea Italica plant. It contains Erucic acid, Oleic acid, Linoleic acid, Eicosenoic acid, and alpha-linoleic acid. It is priced in natural hair care formulations as a silicon alternative. it imparts a non-greasy sheen and luster and combability to hair that is equivalent to silicones, without bearing down on the hair.
In skincare, it is advantageous for its quick penetration and a non-greasy after-feel. It contains arachidonic fatty acid that helps reduce inflammation in the skin. This makes it beneficial for dry and irritated skin conditions. It is also quite high in vitamin K and A – making it priceless in skin regeneration and in maintaining clear and robust skin. It smoothens the skin and softens it. It prevents transepidermal water loss by replenishing the upper layers of the skin.
