Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant with clinical efficacy in ageing skin care and skin brightening and lightening preparations. It prevents the signs of ageing such as wrinkles, crows feet, and skin degeneration. It boosts collagen production and brightens and lightens the skin. As a potent antioxidant, it prevents the degradation caused by free radicals and fortifies the skin’s natural defences against UV radiation.
