It has a high concentration of diosgenin, which is considered a hormone Phytoestrogen. It helps to restore smoothness and firmness to the skin, moisturizing and softening the skin. It helps restore and strengthen skin cells. Diosgenin has strong anti-irritation properties, reducing skin irritation similar to a corticosteroid. It does not contain steroids, however, so is safe to use. Ideal for ageing skin and chemically damaged skin

HOW TO USE
INCI: Dioscorea Villosa (Wild Yam) Root Extract
Solubility: Add to the oil phase (Concentration dependent solubility in polar oils, ethanol, and surfactants.) Homogenization increases solubility in the heated phase, but not required. For emulsions – not for clear systems.
Use rate: 0.1 – 0.5%
Temperature Tolerance: Avoid temperatures above 80°C.
pH Stability: 4.0 – 6.5
Appearance: Light powder
Storage: Store in a cool, dark, and dry place.
