DESCRIPTION: EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) is a synthetic molecule with well-established efficacy in anti-ageing applications. It is a medium-length amino acid sequence consisting of 3 amino acids – glycine, histidine, and lysine, with proven topical efficacy results. They are cellular signaling molecules that accelerate the growth of epidermal skin cells and speed up wound healing. It is a skin-renewal active, directly stimulating the proliferation of skin cells with apparent results within the first month of use. According to one study, it improves the texture of the skin, reduces pore size, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, etc. “Clinical evaluations showed statistically significant improvement in the appearance of fine lines and rhytids, skin texture, pore size, and various dyschromatic conditions apparent within the first month of use, and continuing improvement trends for the duration of the study” (3 months) It is non-mutagenic making it a very safe ingredient. It improves the skin condition, energizes the skin cells, nourishes, smoothens, and rejuvenates the skin. It has anti-inflammatory activity, improving wound healing and scar healing.

EGF is a fantastic ingredient to add to your post-treatments after microneedling or exfoliating routines – such as TCA or AHA skin peels. You can try our ready-to-use Liposomal EGF Power serum.

In hair care, they help stimulate the proliferation of keratin and boost hair growth.
