DESCRIPTION: Glycolic acid is a naturally derived fruit acid from sugarcane. It is well known as an exfoliator with potent anti-ageing benefits. It is used in both rinse-off and leave-one skincare. It is among the group of acids called Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA). Glycolic acid has the smallest molecule in the AHA group, so it penetrates the skin better than other AHA acids (such as lactic acid). It also exfoliates the skin better.
