DESCRIPTION: Calendula oil is a macerated extraction of the calendula flower, containing the lipophilic compounds of the flower in a base of sunflower. It provides emollience, skin soothing, wound healing support, anti-inflammatory, astringent, skin tightening, regenerative, and antioxidant properties. It’s a bright orange oil that contains the colour of the flower and a mild odor of the flower. It is composed of linoleic acid, oleic acid, triglycerides, and vitamin E. Calendula oil protects dry, scaly, and stressed skin. It is non-irritant and suitable for the protective care of sensitive skin (babies’ skin), brittle, chapped, or slightly damaged skin (worn hands, sunburn). It is further stabilized by rosemary CO2 extract.

It helps prevent dryness since it acts as a hydrophobic film on the upper layers of the skin, thereby, reducing trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). It is beneficial in the treatment of ageing skin. It is also a non-comedogenic natural oil, that restores skin barrier function and offers photo- & hair color protection.
