DESCRIPTION: Tremella Hyaluron is a vegetable-derived hyaluronic acid with comparably better moisturizing activity on the skin than regular hyaluronic acid. It is extracted from a white mushroom otherwise known as the snow mushroom and “the crown of fungi” in traditional Asian medicine. The active compound is a polysaccharide – a high-end active for superior moisturization, anti-ageing, anti-oxidation, and skin radiance active. Tremella Hyaluron Boosts the production of SOD (Superoxide Dimutase), a powerful antioxidant produced by the body.
COMPARISON WITH HYALURONIC ACID
It works similarly to hyaluronic acid with some differences. First of all, it contains other skin-nourishing and protecting elements besides hyaluron. It creates a better film on the skin than hyaluronic acid, resisting cracks and ripples. It holds water and prevents moisture loss better than hyaluronic acid. Tremella Hyaluron improves skin smoothness, enhances elasticity, and improves the skin’s hydration condition better than hyaluronic acid. Tremella inhibits melanin production by lowering the mRNA expression of melanin formation (environmentally stimulated), this makes it beneficial in skin-lightening formulas. This is due to the fact that Tremella contains compounds such as polysaccharides, which have been shown to prevent the activation of the tyrosinase enzyme, which is responsible for melanin production.
