DESCRIPTION: Sugarcane wax is a naturally derived alternative to candelilla wax. It’s a medium-soft vegetable wax extracted from the by-product of sugar production. It is considered the most sustainable because of the abundance of cane. Sugarcane Wax contains long-chain fatty alcohols, acids (palmitic, stearic and montanic), esters, aldehydes and ketones, offering beneficial effects on the skin. It can be used as a consistency factor in natural-vegan products to help stabilise cosmetics. It is firmer than beeswax (Non-vegan) with emollient properties. It can be used in creams, lotions, balms, lipsticks, mascara, body butters and other formulations where a smooth or creamy consistency is desired.
