DESCRIPTION: Montanov L is a liquid crystal, nonionic emulsifier. This means it has a strong affinity to the skin’s lipid bilayer of the cellular membrane, which in turn increases active penetration. It impacts a light feeling on the skin, moisturizes the skin, and reduces TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss). It helps stabilize the emulsion and can be used in all sorts of applications and textures – from emulsion sprays to emulsion butters.
Montanov L makes ultra-white emulsions with a very soft texture and good shear thinning profile. Emulsion made with Montanov L is more moisturizing than regular emulsifiers because of their liquid crystal-chemical composition.
