DESCRIPTION: Safflower is a cold-pressed oil from the safflower plant. It contains a very high linoleic acid and sterols, vitamins A, D, K, E, and omega-6. It displays potent antioxidant, repairing, and skin-protecting abilities. Safflower oil penetrates the skin well and helps replenish the skin of moisture, increase flexibility, soften, and smoothen the feel of the skin. In anti-ageing skincare, it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Safflower also has skin lightening properties, so its benefitcial when added in skin lightening and brightening preparations.
