DESCRIPTION: Polysorbate 20 is known as a solubilizer. It is a non-toxic polyoxyethylene derivative of sorbitan monolaurate. Polysorbate 20 is an anti-static agent, a viscosity modifier, wetting and dispersing agent. It has low eye irritation potential so is suitable for sensitive products. It is also used as an emulsifier in oil-based products like cleansing oils.
