DESCRIPTION: Cacay oil (aka taque nut oil) is a premium 100% natural Amazonian oil rich in vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. It is known as a natural retinol, with 3 times the vitamin A content compared to rosehip minus the short shelf-life since it is also high in vitamin; It has a 50% higher vitamin E content than Argan oil. It’s also rich in vitamin F, which makes it especially effective in anti-ageing compositions. Retinol and vitamin F stimulate the skin renewal process. Cacay oil is particularly high in linoleic acid, which is an essential acid for growth and development in skin cell membranes

Cacay Oil deeply nourishes and hydrates the skin, promoting a smooth and supple complexion. It is fast absorbing with a drying effect, compared to a lot of natural oils that leave a heavy residue. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin elasticity, and softens and firms up the skin. Its oleic acid and linoleic acid content also means that it helps restore the skin’s barrier function, speeds up wound healing, lightens hyperpigmentation, and moisturizes the skin without clogging the pores. Cacay oil has some UV absorbance properties, making it ideal as part of your skin-protecting ingredients.

The presence of alpha, beta, gamma and delta-tocopherols, gives the oils a long shelf life giving it high stability in cosmetic formulations. It’s a cold-pressed natural oil. Pairs excellently with Bakuchiol, Skin rejuvenating and SkinWhite 7Oil
