DESCRIPTION: White Curcumin (THC) (Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane) is a high-purity, colour-free extract derived from the yellow curcuminoids extracted from turmeric root. A major metabolite of curcumin with very potent antioxidant, UV-protecting, anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory and skin-lightening properties.

White Curcumin is beneficial for skin types of all ages to promote a healthy appearance. It is a potent free radical scavenger, visibly reducing inflammation and soothing the skin. It treats hyperpigmentation giving the skin a more uniform and brighter appearance. They also promote a supple appearance by preserving the skin’s hyaluronic acid content. Good for formulations aiming to give a youthful, healthy, supple, radiantly even and smooth appearance. Good addition to cosmeceutical formulations because of its multifaceted approach and irritation-reducing capacity.

The free radical scavenging activity is superior to synthetic vitamin E. In one study, its tyrosinase inhibition capabilities outperformed kojic acid. Curcumin White slows down melanogenesis and inhibits Tyrosinase.

White Curcumin aids in anti-ageing stimulating collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production It accelerates wound healing by reducing the epithelialization time and promoting collagen production in the dermis. Many studies have demonstrated it’s superior antioxidant properties and its potential role as a chemopreventive agent for a variety of diseases. They contribute to the vitality of the skin via multiple mechanisms, including edhering to the skin, interaction with the intercelullar lipids, preventing oxidation and ROS activity, and providing skin hydration, improving skin elasticiy and tightness. In formulations, White Curcumin (THC) can also improve the shelf life by inhibiting lipid oxidation and rancidity.

White Curcumin Retains the bioactivity of yellow curcuminoids while appearing colour-free It is effective in the treatment of acne, age spots, aging skin, blemishes, and scars and helps prevent dry skin.
