DESCRIPTION: Fractionated Coconut oil is derived from the coconut tree. It is an emollient, solvent and skin-conditioning oil. It has been refined by means of natural bleaching, decolouring and deodorizing – all through natural fraction, making it ideal for a myriad of cosmetic applications. It is especially used for blending essential oils as a carrier and a spreading agent. It has a light, after-skin feel, providing a non-greasy barrier that does not clog pores. It is able to protect the skin from barrier insult. It readily penetrates the skin.
As Fractionated coconut oil is derived from coconut, it is a great source of Medium-chain Triglycerides (MCTs). It remains liquid at room temperature, without affecting the viscosity of your formulations with temperature changes.
