DESCRIPTION: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is a naturally derived ester emollient from coconut, rapeseed, etc. It is a triglyceride of caprylic-capric acid. It provides long-spreading and a non-greasy feel to the skin. It is a natural replacement for natural oils that can leave the skin feeling greasy and sticky, with a natural affinity to the skin.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride has good stability and is resistant to oxidation (does not need to be preserved with vitamin E as do natural oils). It imparts a silky, oil-free texture. Caprylic/capric triglyceride is not a true oil but an ester and does not clog the pores
