DESCRIPTION: Olive Squalane is a natural emollient derived 100% from unsaponified molecules of olive oil. It is a conditioning emollient with skin-softening properties and a silky after-feel. It has good spreading properties, lubricity, and superior stability. Squalane is produced naturally by the skin but decreases with age. Because it is similar to sebum, it is fast absorbing/penetrating. It is fast penetrates the epidermis and enhances the elasticity and resilience of the skin.
Olive Squalane remains on the upper levels of the skin, providing smoothening effect, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and will not leave a greasy after-feel as most natural oils do. In hair care, it helps prevent split ends and adds to the moisturizing needs in haircare
