DESCRIPTION: Neroli oil is potent oil of great quality. Neroli essential oil is produded by steam distillation from the flowers of the plant Citrus aurantium. The yielding oil is a transparent liquid, ranging from yellow to green in color with a distinctive and characteristic spicy floral aroma. Neroli oil has potent anti microbial and anti inflammatory properties. It is used to treat acne. Bacteria such as the Propionibacterium acnes are a major factor in the development of acne. Because these are becoming increasingly resistant to traditional treatment methods, essential oils such as neroli oil are considered a promising alternative.
It may also be added to massage oils, hair care products and skin care products.
