DESCRIPTION: Willow bark extract contains the main active substance at 50 percent concentration of salicylic acid from natural sources. It is able to accelerate cell turnover similar to salicylic acid but with reduced irritation It also possesses anti-inflammatory activity.

Willow bark extract nourishes the skin and thickens it. It also possesses some anti-microbial activity when used in high concentrations. It acts as a toning agent and a mild cleanser.
