DESCRIPTION: Silica Dimethyl Silylate is a synthetic, hydrophobic fumed silica that thickens oils (such as mineral oils, castor oils, and plant oils) and polyols. It is used to make clear oil gels. It has suspending properties and gives a thixotropic flow. . It also provides optimization of the thickening properties with a polar solvent such as dipropylene glycol, triethyl citrate, or propylene carbonate.
