According to research, it helps nourish and condition the skin better than other fatty acids like stearic acid, etc It provides a protective barrier on the skin against environmental pollution. It acts as a lubricant, cleansing agent for oil gels, and emollient with skin-soothing properties. It helps restore the skin’s natural lipid profile.
